P1(b) Script

Meaning: A script is a written text of a plot, play or a drama.

Purpose: The purpose for this section is to show the dialogue and plot of my short video, including the custom and actions of my actors. 

SCENE 1

Saturday Morning

Actor: Annie + Carmen

Venue: Austen House 

( Carmen wearing uniform and carrying a backpack, saying goodbye to her mom ready to head off to school. )

Carmen: Bye mom ( Waves at her) 

Annie: Bye sweetheart. (Kiss on her forehead)

SCENE 2

Saturday morning

Actors: Carmen

Venue: Austen Path 

(Carmen walking to school smiling happily and singing to herself.)

SCENE 3

Saturday morning 

Actors: Carmen+ Sammy+ Sophia 

Venue: Language department

                

(Carmen walks into the classroom and greets her friends)

Sammy (Teacher): Well done Carmen, keep it up! ( Placing a test paper with A on the top of the right corner)

Carmen: Thank you Miss (smiles at her) 

Sophia (Classmate sitting behind her) : ( Half stand up and reaches to Carmen), Woah Carmen. ( Peeks at her test paper)

Venue: Dinning hall 

(Carmen and her friends having lunch and chat happily.)

Carmen: Goodnight mom! ( Turns her body around facing the camera and hug her doll)

Venue: Austen House small common room 

Annie+Sammy+Sophia : (Sings birthday song + claps)

Annie: Happy birthday sweetie, here’s your birthday gift! ( Handing her a IPhone 6 box_

Carmen: OH MY GOD thank you mom! (Hugs her mom)

Sunday Morning

Actor: Annie + Carmen

Venue: Austen House 

( Carmen wearing uniform and carrying a backpack, saying goodbye to her mom ready to head off to school. )

Annie: Bye sweetheart. (Kiss on her forehead)

Carmen: (Looking down on the phone ignoring her mom)

(Carmen walking to school and taking selfies + texting all the way long)

Venue: Language department classroom

Sophia: Morning Carmen!

Carmen: Hi. ( Entered the classroom looking down on her phone, look up for a second saying hi to Sophia and look back down again, walks to her seat)

SCENE 17

Actors: Carmen+ Sammy+ Sophia 

Venue: Language department 

Sammy (Teacher): Carmen, your grades dropped. If this carries on, I will have to talk to your parents. ( Put a test paper with D on the top right-hand corner) And stop playing with your phone during the lesson, I can see it. 

Carmen: (Look up at her then look back down on her phone. 

Sophia: Carmen! 

(Sophia tries to call her but Carmen gives no respond, Sophia+ Sammy look at each other)

SCENE 18

Sunday afternoon

Actors: Carmen+ Sammy+ Sophia

Venue: Dinning hall 

(Carmen and her friends having lunch in the dining hall, her friends are chatting but she looks down on her phone.)

SCENE 19

Sunday afternoon 

Actors: Carmen+ Sammy+ Sophia 

Venue: Bookshop 

Sammy: Carmen your favorite author established a new book! ( Excitingly hand her the book)

Carmen: ( Scrolling down her phone and ignoring Sammy. )

SCENE 20

Sunday afternoon 

Actors: Carmen+ Sammy+ Sophia 

Venue: Coffee shop

( Carmen and her friends sitting in the coffee shop, Carmen focuses on her phone.)

Sammy: Oh my god, couldn’t you just leave your phone for a second?! You’re totally addicted to it! 

Carmen: (Holding her phone) Shut up.

SCENE 21

( Carmen sitting infront of her desk, with homework on but she’s scrolling her phone.)

Annie: Goodnight sweetheart! (Switch of the light) 

Carmen:( Turns her body around facing the camera and playing with her phone in the dark.)

Venue: Austen House big common room 

Annie: Carmen could you hoover the living room for me please?

(Carmen looks up from the phone impatiently and rolls her eyes) 

SCENE 26

Venue: Austen house big common room

(Carmen sits on the corridor with the vacuum machine switched on next to her, scrolling her phone, at the back of Carmen shows the legs of Annie. Showing that Annie started to realize the problem)

SCENE 27

Next Saturday evening 

Actor: Carmen+Annie

Venue: Elfick house common room 

(Carmen sitting in front of the dinning table, Annie placed her dinner in front of her and Carmen looks at her phone)

Annie: Carmen stop playing with your phone, it’s dinner time.

SCENE 28

Next Saturday evening

Venue: Elfick house common room 

(Annie and Carmen having dinner, Carmen eats her supper and scrolling her phone)

Annie: Carmen, how’s your school today? 

Carmen: Good ( replying without looking at Annie)

SCENE 29

Annie: Carmen I spoke to your teacher, she said your grades went down a lot...

Carmen: ( Continues to ignore her)

SCENE 30 

Next Saturday evening

Annie: ( Snatch Carmen’s phone, started shouting at her) I AM TALKING TO YOU, GIVE SOME RESPECT TO YOUR MOTHER.

Carmen: (Looks at her with her eyes wide) GIVE ME BACK MY PHONE!

Annie: ( Stand up)  LOOK, I DIDN’T BUY YOU A PHONE TO MAKE YOU BECOME WHAT YOU ARE NOW. 

SCENE 31 

Next Saturday evening 

Actor: Carmen+Annie

Venue: Elfick house common room

Annie: I’M TAKING YOUR PHONE UNTIL YOU GET BETTER. (walks away from the dinning table)

Carmen: (Stands up and shout) WHAT?!

SCENE 32 

Next Saturday evening 

Actor: Carmen+Annie

Venue: Elfick house common room

Carmen: Holds her fist and breathe angrily. Slowly look at the knife which she was using to eat her food. 

SCENE 33

Next Saturday evening 

Actor: Carmen+Annie

Venue: Elfick house common room
